Meet Jill G. Russell
Jill G. Russell has been actively involved with the speech and language community for more than ten years. A native of Troutdale, Oregon, she continues to contribute to her community through a variety of professional and social activities.
Jill received her bachelor's degree from University
of Portland in 1992 in Elementary Education. She decided to continue her education and received her master's
degree in 1997 in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Portland State
University.
Jill has her CCC, the Certificate of Clinical Competence,
from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
Prior to opening Gresham Speech Therapy, Jill worked
for five years in the David Douglas School District in Portland, Oregon, at the elementary
level, providing speech and language services to children in kindergarten
through 6th grade.
Jill belongs to a number of professional organizations:
Jill lives in Troutdale where she attended schools in the Gresham-Barlow School District. She is married to Michael, a chemistry professor at Mt. Hood Community College, and they have a son Grayson. In her spare time, Jill enjoys running, yoga, vegan cooking, organic gardening, knitting, hiking, snow shoeing, and mountain biking.
